Upper Hutt Basketball is owned by: Dave Clyma & Richard Birkhead

The structure of Upper Hutt Basketball is a stand alone sporting club.

We do not rely on grants from funders.

 4 years ago Dave Clyma set out to run school leagues and development programme's in Upper Hutt

While he was President at HVBA.

It was a slow start at the beginning and when HVBA hired Raychel she took over this project and things started to happen within a couple of weeks we had schools signed up for leagues and our development programme.

The devolpment prpgamme started with Bennet Pomana,Jackson Stubbins,Elliot Jackson for year one,second year saw Brendon Polyblank and George Leafa running trainings.

These programmes have help developour leagues.

Although Raychel is no longer with HVBA or Upper Hutt Basketball if it wasn't for her the leagues may not be running today.

2018 Dave and Richard have moved away from HVBA but are dedicated to running leagues/trainings for the Upper Hutt.

Our goal is grow basketball and building a structure that will keep basketball in Upper Hutt.

We promise to make basketball available for everyone and not just the selected few.
